F.A.Q.

You have a question? Someone else might have had the exact same one. Let's find out!

3d Laser Scanning is a technology that creates a “point cloud” by rapidly and accurately acquiring hundreds of thousands of points per second, without the need for physical contact of the objects being scanned. These points can then be directly used for designing, contouring, creating 2d/3d line work and rendering just to name a few.

The cost of a 3D scan varies greatly depending on the area or object being scanned and the accuracy required of the final product. A small project with low accuracy tolerance requirements will be a fraction of the cost of a large project with high accuracy tolerances. This will be discussed in depth at the beginning of the project in the planning stage.

We can create just about any file type that you may need. We have many different software packages and the ability to export numerous different file types. We also provide the raw scan files with a free viewer so you may view the scans and photos together as well.
